Description
The UPVC Pneumatic Butterfly Valve serves as an expert pvc valve solution because of its outstanding resistance to corrosion. The pvc butterfly valve operates with CPVC and PVDF and PP piping materials to serve chemical processing and water treatment applications. The valve operates in sizes ranging from 1½”-8” (63mm to 225mm) while supporting pressures up to 150 PSI and operating temperatures between -40°C and +120°C. The integrated pneumatic actuator generates torque between 10Nm and 8000Nm to deliver dependable operation in harsh operating conditions.

FAQs
What types of materials are there for plastic valves?
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) serves as the primary plastic valve material because it provides affordable cost and strong chemical resistance properties. The material remains lightweight which simplifies both installation and handling procedures.
CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) plastic valves demonstrate better thermal stability than PVC because they can function under elevated temperature and pressure conditions.
PP (Polypropylene) shows outstanding chemical resistance properties which make it suitable for acid and alkaline fluid applications.
PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) represents a high-end plastic valve material which provides outstanding resistance to aggressive substances including hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid.
UPVC butterfly valve industry application
The water treatment industry makes extensive use of UPVC butterfly valves as one of its primary applications. The water treatment sector of both municipal and industrial facilities employs these valves because they resist corrosive substances and maintain high pressure resistance. The smooth UPVC interior surface prevents scaling and buildup which makes it suitable for use in water distribution systems.
