This electric actuated butterfly valve is perfect for sanitary applications and chemical processes, as it meets all the high standards required. It is a one-piece disc valve with a stem that comes in a variety of materials including cast iron, ductile iron, aluminum stainless steel, CF8 and CF8M. The disc valve can also be made from materials such as nylon coated ductile iron, aluminum bronze or double stainless steel (2507 and 1.4529). Stem material is available in stainless steel with NBR, EPDM, PTFE, VITON or FKM polyurethane seats. The size range is from 1″ – 40″, while flange accommodations include EN 1092 PN6/PN10/PN16 ASME class 150 or AS4087 PN10/PN16 JIS 5K/10K. This motorized butterfly valve also features an electric actuator which has an output torque of up to 2000 NM and control signals of 4-20 mADC or 0-5 VDC/0-10 VDC in power outlets such as 12VDC, 24VAC etc. Also available are options like explosion-proof actuators (Exd II CT5) and water-proof IP67 versions. This essential piece of equipment offers superior Cv values while maintaining low pressure drops across the system and is capable of withstanding temperatures between -40°C to +200°C (depending on pressure).
